Team Rosters and Attendance
Each team must have a minimum of four players and a maximum of ten players on its roster. Two rostered players must be available to play each scheduled league night. Teams must play all players who are present, up to a maximum of four players per game. If a team cannot provide two players, the team will forfeit that night’s match and a score of 3 games to none will be recorded.
Game-Night Schedule
Games will be played on Tuesdays or Thursdays at the Carrie Lynn Pinard Memorial Centre. Teams choose which night they want to play. Teams can play on both nights if they choose, but the team must register and pay separately for both nights
Each scheduled match is allotted a 1.5-hour time slot. The time slots are:
· 6:30 p.m.–8:00 p.m.
· 8:15 p.m.–9:45 p.m.
Match Format
Teams will begin with one warm-up game. They will then play an official best-of-five series, with the first team to win three games winning the match. If time remains after the official series, the teams may continue playing additional games until their allotted 1.5-hour time slot ends. These additional games are for extra play only and will not affect the league standings.
Standings and Mid-Season Divisions
Only the result of each official best-of-five series will count toward the league standings. At approximately the midpoint of the season, teams will be divided into two or more divisions based on the standings at that time. This structure is intended to group teams with similar results for the remainder of the season.
